Scott Milliron passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on Sunday,
October 13, 2024. Born June 3, 1962, a Jacksonville native, Scott came
into the world with a good heart and a robust sense of humor. While in
college at the University of Florida, he soaked in every football game,
history class, and party, all while rocking a Magnum P.I. approved
mustache. In 1985, Scott met his lifelong best friend and wife, Sherri. In
1991, they married, and a few years later, their daughter, Kelly, completed
the human-side of their small, but always close-knit family until Nick joined
in 2016 as the love of Kelly's life.

Scott loved his family, animals, and traveling. He never met a dog,
cat or turtle he didn't love. He ventured around the world, always interested
in each place's history and culture, and took away something meaningful
from each experience. Scott was-by all objective and unbiased
standards-the funniest person who ever lived. Always ready with a quip or
a silly joke; Scott found humor in everything. His talent for drawing a laugh
lightened a million moments and filled his family and friend's lives with so
much joy.

The world deflated a bit and lost something that will never be
regained the day he died. He was a genuinely good, loyal, and thoughtful
person. He is, and always will be loved immeasurably by those who remain
behind. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Milliron; daughter, Kelly Milliron;
son-in-law, Nick Milliron; brother, Allen, sister-in law Sharon, niece and
nephew Megan and Zack, plus his cherished cats, Jojo, Lily, and Leo (his
grandcat); and, of course, his beloved coonhound, Rene "Reginald" Gustav
Milliron.

A memorial service to celebrate Scott's life will be held at Naugle
Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024. All are
welcome to attend and share in remembering him. In lieu of flowers,
contributions can be made to The London Sanctuary, a hound dog rescue
organization where Scott adopted Rene.
