Kristopher Edward Napier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kristopher Edward Napier on
November 11, 2024, at the age of 57. Kris was born on June 28, 1967 in Oxford, Mississippi to
parents Jeweldean and Edgar Napier.

He was a loving father, husband, and son, and was known for his strong will, determination and
commitment to helping others. Kris married the love of his life, Christy, in 2003. He enjoyed
fishing, traveling, and football. Some of his fondest memories were coaching youth sports as his
son was growing up. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and then went on to work as
a teacher. He later entered the information technology field and most recently he worked as a
cybersecurity engineer.

Kris is preceded in death by his mother, Jeweldean Beasley Scott. He is survived by his father,
Edgar (Tina) Napier ; wife, Christy Napier; his children, Rachael Napier, Sasha Napier and
Thomas Napier; his sisters Sheri (Randy) Bowmer, Christy Michele (Ted) Bailey, and Vanessa (Corey) Napier-Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make a donation to the Tunnels to Towers
Foundation (t2t.org). As a veteran, Kris felt strongly about helping veterans and first responders
in need.

A celebration of Kris's life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2pm. All are welcome
to visit with the family and share your memories of Kris.
