Lee "Scott" Mundell was born in Sacramento, California on February 15, 1960. He passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Scott was a very loving husband to Patsy and special daddy to his two girls, Nicole and Heidi.
Scott is survived by his wife Patsy (of 36 years), his daughters Nicole (Chris) Mundell and Heidi (Angie) Mundell; his Father Robert Mundell; three sisters Robin, Joannie and Jana; grandchildren Michaella, Mariah, Aaron and Elijah; five great-grandchildren; niece Raeann (Steven) and nephew Billy. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Mundell.
Scott loved family, friends and the outdoors. What followed were many happy years of doing just what Scott met Patsy while at work and they immediately bonded. While on a hiking date in 1983, Scott told Patsy to trust him as she jumped a ledge to him. He grabbed her hand when she landed and they never let go. Patsy had two little girls and Scott made the three of them his family.
Scott enjoyed everything outside. There were numerous camping trips, with family and friends, along the Pacific Coastline and the mountains. He enjoyed White Water rafting the Sacramento River and Scuba Diving in the Pacific Ocean. Golf and Dirt Bikes were also passions. Scott just loved anything outdoors.
Scott moved with his family, in the late 1990's to Jacksonville. They all enjoyed Jaguars games, the Atlantic Ocean, fishing, kayaking and exploring the East Coastline. Scott became a pro at spotting sharks' teeth.
Scott will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will forever live in their hearts and memories. Scott was truly one of a kind, the best kind!
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
