Leonard Thomas (Tom) Hagin II, 70 born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl embarked on his hunting trip to heaven on Thursday, December 20th, 2018. Tom passed away peacefully at home in Jacksonville, Fl with his dog by his side as he wished with love, support, and care from his loved ones throughout his valiant and stoic battle with cancer and other health complications. He was able to spend his final days surrounded by family and loved ones in his home like he wanted. Tom was a very strong man with a heart of gold hidden beneath his tough exterior. He served in Vietnam in the navy aboard several air craft carriers and was honorably discharged, he went to woodstock, lived off of the land in the mountains, and traveled all over the U.S.A. Tom lived a good life and had experiences many have not been lucky enough to have. He is a great man who is loved and cherished by those who knew him. He enjoyed nothing more than the outdoors, hunting and fishing and being with his faithful dog jake. Leonard is survived by the mother of his children, brother Ricky and sister Jane as well as his loving son, 3 daughters and 16 soon to be 17 grandchildren. Predeceased by his Parents, two brothers, sister, 6 nephews and nieces and his first born son.
-We will love and miss you for the rest of our days dad. We know your not suffering anymore and surrounded by those that you had lost. We will always cherish the good times and keep you alive in our hearts, and strive to be like you. You will be sorely missed forever and always.
