Lisa Fine, dog trainer and small business owner, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital on December 17, 2023 surrounded by friends and family.
She is survived by her son, Tyler.
Those who knew Lisa, knew her best for her kind heart, adventurous spirit , and deep love for animals. She was known for her talent to train animals even to do commercial projects for film and TV. She loved to travel and explore the world and shared this love with her friends and family.
Lisa was born in Alamosa Colorado on April 11th 1966 to Jeannie Gomez, and adopted by Silverio Gurule and Patricia Gomez. She married the love of her life, Cory Fine in New Mexico on January 13, 1993. They went on to travel to England when Lisa earned a Bachelor's at the University of Leeds, and lived in Budapest for a period of time after. They moved to Princeton, New Jersey with her son, and soon moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she remained a beloved member of the community.
The service is scheduled for January 3rd at 1:30pm at Naugle Funeral Home, and burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery
