Lonnie Earl Caudill

Lonnie Earl Caudill, 77, of Hilliard, FL passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at Baptist Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on March 5, 1947. He served his country in the United States Army. He loved fishing and being out on the water in his boat. He also loved smoking meat and having lunch with his dog, Luna.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, John Earl Caudill and Willie Mae Caudill; a brother, Johnny DeWayne Caudill; a sister, Nora Vadis Cook; and a daughter, Angela Lanette Allen.

Lonnie is survived by his daughters, Maggie Mae Lloyd (Michael) and Litia Elaine Benton; his grandchildren, Jessica Caudill, Kristen Gunter, Holly Lloyd, Bradley Allen, Alexi Lee, Julie Benton, Jessica Benton, Jeffery Benton, Jr., Forrest Lloyd, and Lonnie Lloyd; his great-grandchildren, Jordon Gardener, Jasmine Gardener, Janessa Gardener, Ben Gunter, Emmy Gunter, Chloe Gunter, and Lincoln Rogers; five sisters; many nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Charlotte Caudill.

A committal service and military honors for Lonnie Earl will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 31 at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. Services under the care of Naugle Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A reception will follow at 1881 Occasion in Hilliard, FL.
