Lorie Lynn Lanier
January 27, 1977 — January 21, 2020
Lorie Lynn Lanier, 42, police officer, beloved mother, daughter, sister and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Lorie was the life of the party. She had an infectious smile, laugh, a big heart and was a very giving person. She loved to tell about the time she spent in Germany and her many adventures as a police officer. Baptist by faith, Lorie knew her Lord and Savior. Now she is in heaven with her daddy, dancing and talking, her most favorite things to do. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Lorie is survived by her mother, Virginia Lauramore, sister Jennifer Yarbrough, two loving daughter's, Montgomarie Faith Lanier and McKinnlee Hope Lanier, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and the love of her life, Jose Guerra. She is preceded by her father, William (Bill) Lauramore and her grandparents.
Lorie's funeral will be at 1:00 PM this Saturday at Naugel Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Ave. The viewing will be at Noon Saturday at the funeral home. Immediately following the funeral, the burial will be at Memoral Park Cemetery 7242 Normandy Boulevard at Memorial Park Rd.
