Margaret Yvonne Leziak, 79, passed surrounded by family on 15 March 2018 at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on September 6th, 1938 in Blackstone, Massachusetts to Henry and Esther Doray Lataille.
In her early years Margaret was a Girl Scout Leader. Margaret loved to read romance novels and talk about everything. Whether it was politics, science, hollywood, racing, or more, she never backed away from good discussion. She had a way of looking at things from a different perspective. She was nonsense, blunt, and funny.
Margaret grew up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and was raised a Catholic. Margaret loved to read and talk about everything. Whether it was politics, science, Hollywood, Racing, and more, she never backed away from good discussion. She had a way of looking at things from a different perspective. She was nonsense, blunt, and funny. She attended Woonsocket High School. After high school she became a wife, homemaker, and a mother to 10 children. Margaret married Benjamin on 27 January 1961in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She and Benjamin lived in Rhode Island but moved to Jacksonville, Florida permanently in 1974.They were happily married for 31 years.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Leziak, her sons Russell Lataille, and David Leziak, her parents Henry and Esther Lataille, and her sister Blanch.
Margaret is survived by her Children, Kim Leziak, Joann and Don Barnett of Trinity, NC., Ben and Sharon Leziak of Starke, Fl., Peggy Jean and Paul Mott of Brooker, Fl., Betty Ann Leziak and Vern Burleigh of Jacksonville, Fl., Linda and Richard Hyde of Jacksonville, Florida, Diana Harper of Jacksonville, Fl., and Denis and Lori Leziak of Middleburg, Fl. She also has 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Albert Lataille of Blackstone, Massachusetts and her Sister Joyce Baptista of Woonsocket.
Margaret will be laid to rest with her husband Benjamin at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fl.
