Former Silver Spring, MD resident Marilynn Elaine Wesley Pray, 76, died in her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, September 13th.
Marilynn Elaine Wesley was born February 6, 1940, in Jacksonville, Florida to Frederick A. Wesley and Vivian Ross Wesley. She graduated Boylan Haven High School, of which she was so proud to be an alumnus. She attended Hampton University, but was graduated from Edward Waters College. After graduation, she taught primary school, until moving with her husband to California. They had two children, daughter Vivlynn Olivia and son Eric Wesley. She moved with her family to Europe, where they lived almost 10 years. Upon their return to the United States, they lived in Silver Spring, MD. Years later, Marilynn made her way back to Jacksonville, where she joyfully lived out the rest of her life.
She is survived by her loving children, Eric, Vivlynn and her husband Robert Moser, an extended family, and countless beloved friends.
Marilynn served the Lord faithfully and happily as a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. She was active in many of the church’s organizations: the Chancel Bell Choir, the WPC Seniors and Retirees group, and she served as President of WPC Presbyterian Women. She also served as a Trustee of the Church, and she sang in the Woodlawn Church Choir.
Because she was so gregarious, she was able to bring fun with her wherever she went. She especially loved playing card games with Les Fleurs Social and Civic Club, the Thursday Ladies, and the Pokeno Gang; she also enjoyed lunching and dining out with friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church.
