Mary H Castleman

Beloved mother and grandmother Mary Helen Castleman (nee Smotherman, Age 59) passed away peacefully the morning of August 27th, 2017, after an unexpected severe heart attack on Thursday, August 24th. She will surely be missed by her surviving children, Erin Gale Castleman (28, Jacksonville, FL) and Thomas Gerard Castleman (25, Houston, TX), and granddaughter, Isabelle Grace Castleman (19mo, Jacksonville, FL), as well as her pets Cookie dog and Loki cat. Her surviving siblings, Roger William Smotherman (68, Jacksonville, FL) and Charlotte Leslie Jackson (70, Boston, MA) will also miss her. Although she moved around quite a bit, she was a Jacksonville native that graduated from Englewood High School in 1975. She was gifted in music and made an impact in everyone's lives she touched. She overcame many obstacles and lived life to the fullest. We will all miss her but know she is still with us in spirit. May she rest in peace. A memorial service is to be held on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at 11AM in Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue Jacksonville, Florida 32207 (904) 396-1611.
