Mary Ann Passaro Hospidor, age 80 of 1655 Prudential Dr, Unit 2131, Jacksonville, FL died March 1, 2024 in the Douglas Center For Caring, Jacksonville, FL, born to Thomas J. Passaro, Sr. and Leda J. Campanelli. She was born May 12, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ and grew up in Union City, NJ and New London, CT. She graduated from New London High School, New London, CT in 1961. She had been employed by Civil Service at the New London Submarine Base in Groton, CT and at POMFLANT (Polaris Missile Facility Atlantic) near Charleston, SC. She also was a loan processor for two commercial banks as well as a volunteer tour guide at "Strawbery Banke" in Portsmouth, NH. Mary Ann is a past member of the Jaycees Women's Auxiliary, East Lyme, CT and of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Lady Lake, FL. She met and married her husband John W. Hospidor on June 26, 1965 who was in the US Navy in New London, CT just over 4 months after they met. After 58 plus years of marriage, she was the most loving and kind wife, mother, daughter and sister that anyone could ever hope for. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons John W. Hospidor, Jr. and Leonard W. Hospidor and his wife Andrea all of Florida, a brother Thomas J. Passaro, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Arkansas. She is also survived by three nephews Stephen T. Passaro and wife Carrie of Connecticut, Jeffery D. Passaro of Hawaii, and Mathew M. Passaro and his wife Jennifer of Arkansas. In addition, she is survived by three grandnephews Nicholas S., Micael Passaro both of Connecticut and Warner Passaro of Arkansas as well as numerous cousins. Last Rites was performed by Father Sebatian of the Assumption Catholic Church Parish, 2403 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL on February 25,2024. Funeral arrangements made through Naugle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1203 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. a Memorial will be conducted at Naugle
Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Internment will be in the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd Jacksonville, FL.
