Mary Nell Ward of Jacksonville Florida passed away Sunday June 28, 2015. Mary Nell was born July 11, 1929 in Silver Creek MS to the late Aubrey and Leona Daniels. She was preceded in death by her husband Hurston Ward and brother Charles Daniels.
She is survived by her son Mickey Ward (Sheila); grandchild Kristen Troy (Steve); great-grandchildren Jackson and McKinley Troy; sister Carolyn Rayborn and brother Gerald Daniels.
Mary Nell (Mae) lived in Monticello MS prior to moving to Jacksonville FL following the death of her husband Hurston in 1988. Mary Nell was a faithful member of Hepzibah Baptist Church of Stump Town MS and Arlington Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday July 6, 2015 at Hepzibah Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
