Michael Paul Butler, Sr.

Michael P. Butler, Sr. passed away peacefully at the hospital on Monday, June 15th at the age of 76, due to complications from a stroke suffered the week before. Michael was born February 13, 1944 in Deland FL, but was raised in Jacksonville FL by his parents, Malcolm Butler and Mary Evelyn Butler (both preceded him in death). He began his lifelong career in printing as a teenager. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen Butler, and his 4 children; Michele Mathis O'Malley, Laurie Canaday, MaryAlice Mendel, and Michael P. Butler, Jr. He also immensely loved each of his 15 grandchildren. Other survivors include; Betty Siipple (sister), Ann Darcy (sister), and Roger Butler (brother). He was preceded in death by 2 brothers. We welcome all friends and family to celebrate his long and happy life at 10:00 AM (visitation), 11:00 AM (service) at Naugle Funeral Home in San Marco, 1203 Hendricks Ave, 32207, followed by a committal ceremony at 12:30 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, 32207.
