Michael D Minish

Michael (Doc) Minish passed away at his home in Jacksonville Florida on Thursday, October 16 at the age of 63. Michael is predeceased by his parents, Milton Minish and Edna Good, and his sister, Edith Brakhage. Michael is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 23 years. They were married in Sevierville, TN on October 19, 1992. Michael is lovingly remembered by his sister Tina (Minish) Burleson and her Husband Mike of Marshfield MO; Daughter Nikki Plonka and her Husband Joel and Grandson Henry of Detroit MI; Step daughter Angela Wilsford and her Husband Steve of Jacksonville, FL; loving nieces Lindy and Shanna and their families of Marshfield, MO the Dyer extended families of Ohio and Kentucky as well as numerous friends from GA, IN, AR and FL over the years. Michael was born in Commerce, GA in 1951. He served in Vietnam, owned a Gas Station in Muncie, Indiana and has been a Ford Parts specialist for the majority of his working life in Indiana, Arkansas and Florida. Michael enjoyed sports, especially college football (Bulldog fan), was an avid Surf Fisher and enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. A Memorial Service will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, October 18 at Naugle Funeral Home.
