Michelle Renee Tweedy Vinal, 41, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2023.
She was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, to the late James Edward Tweedy and Doris Noel Trent. Michelle graduated from Altavista High School, class of 2000, before majoring in Elementary Education at UNCG in Greensboro, North Carolina. Michelle worked at ABBQ in Jacksonville, FL, as an Event Coordinator.
Michelle was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Loren Vinal, father, James E. Tweedy, maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Preston Noel, of Evington, VA and paternal grandparents, Virginia Tweedy Gay and Edward Tweedy, of Altavista, VA.
She is survived by two children, Lily Vinal (16 yr) and Gavin Vinal (9 yr), her mother, Doris N. Trent, sister, Melanie Tweedy, two nieces Brittany Maulbeck (Demitre), Hannah Bradner, a nephew, Noah Bradner. She is also survived by two great nephews Jordan Maulbeck and Cayden Maulbeck, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The memorial service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Liberty Baptist Church, 84 Nickland Dr. Evington, VA 24550 with Pastor Jeff Chapman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00pm. All are welcome to attend the service at 7:00pm.
