Miguel A Fontan

Miguel A. Fontan, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2021, surrounded by family, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born May 21, 1944, in Morovis, Puerto Rico.
Many will remember him as Mike or Mikey, that friend who was always ready to lend a hand to anyone or to join a party. Others will remember him for his dedication, as he was to his job at Displays for Jewelry and to his extended family across many states and in Puerto Rico.
He loved cooking, fishing, bingo, flea marketing with good friends, Jaguar's football, practical jokes, and endless laughter. He was forever "29 again" in his spirit.
He will truly be missed.
Miguel is survived by his wife Cruz Fontan-Martinez & their children Lucas (27) & Sky (16), his older children Zulma Fontan-Hayes, Maribel Fontan-Velez, Rosemary Fontan-Varela, Minique Rodriguez-Cardona, Jesus Rodriquez, and their respective families, including 7 grandchildren, his siblings Luis Fontan, Juan Fontan, Catalina Fontan and their families, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
