Patricia Ann Chandler, 70, of Jacksonville,Fl, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Patricia was born in Jacksonville on April 25,1945. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted wife. As a young military wife,she traveled the world, living in Sicily, Italy for several years. She enjoyed finding treasures at yard sales and thrift stores. She loved to fish. It brought her joy to give to others. She was proud that she earned an Associate of Arts in General Education and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Three Rivers Community College at the age of 63. She enthusiastically worked as a probation officer for a short time after graduation. She had the greatest sense of humor and was the best at telling stories about her life experiences.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Selph, step-father, Clayton Selph and her husband of 44 years, Jimmie G. Chandler,Sr.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Briley(Judy). Her six children: Suzanne Robinson(Gary), Cherie Russo(Jimmy), Margaret Carlson(Don), Trisha Markham, Melissa Hewlett(Keith) and Jimmie Chandler,Jr. (Brian), Her eleven grandchildren: Tiffany, Gary,Jr., Courtney, Ryan, Mitchell, Justin, Jay, Stephanie, Sarah, Kalyn and Jamie. Her seven great-grandchildren: Emma, Briley, Vanessa, Faith, Clarity, Noah and DJ. Her beloved dog, Brutus.
Patricia was truly an angel and she will be greatly missed by so many.
The Memorial Service will be at Dinsmore Baptist Church at 11 AM on Friday November 20th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Patricia's honor to
