Randy Harris died from a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and
friends. Randy was 68 years old when he went to be with the Lord. He was happily
married to his loving wife Wendy for 38 years. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN where he
spent his early years camping, hiking and fishing. His family would move to Jacksonville
Beach where he loved surfing and learned from his father how to fix things. Randy
graduated from Fletcher High School. Later in life he moved to Keystone Heights where
he enjoyed jet skiing. He made fast friends with everyone he met and cherished many
lifelong friendships. He was quick to offer a helping hand and was known to be a fixer of
problems. His friends and family were left with happy memories of Randy who has
become known as: the man, the myth, the legend. Most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus
Christ and took every opportunity to share the love of Jesus with others. Survivors
include his wife Wendy Harris and his 2 sons, Jesse Harris of Jacksonville Beach and
Joshua Harris (Breea) of Jacksonville, FL. He was a proud papa to his 7 grandchildren,
Hunter, Luke, Eva, and Stellan (Jesse) and Eden, Ezra and Eliah (Josh and Breea). He
was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was survived by his brother
Marion Harris of Tarpon Springs, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rowe
and Thelma Harris of Jacksonville Beach and his sister Rovena Harris of Keystone
Heights.
