Raymond Kenneth Chicoski

CHICOSKI Raymond Kenneth Chicoski, 71, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, after a lengthy illness. Ray was born on April 22, 1943 in Fredonia, New York. His family moved to Jacksonville in 1956 where Ray went on to graduate from Englewood High School. After graduation, he served in the US Army Reserves. He worked as a manager with A&P Grocery Stores for many years. He also worked for the US Postal Service as a mailman and supervisor for over 20 years. At the time of his passing, Ray was the proud owner of his own business, a produce store. Ray was an animal lover, he cherished his beloved dog Joey and was an avid Gator fan. Ray married his sweetheart, Carol, on September 4, 1979 and their blended family had 7 children. Ray was preceded in death by a son, Carl Preston. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Carol; sons, Kenny Chicoski, Timmy Preston (Debbie), Chet Martin (Debbie), Allen Martin (Leslie); daughters, Tiffany Collins (Phil), Patty McCann (Sean); 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Bob Chicoski (Julie) and Gene Chicoski; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
