Richard Ford

Richard Ford, age 78, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020, at 1pm in Jacksonville, FL. Richard was born November 26, 1942, in Jacksonville, FL to Hellen V. Ford and James Ford. He was raised in Jacksonville, FL and after High School, he enlisted in the US Army. After the military, he returned to Jacksonville, FL. Were Richard began his career in several management positions before settling into a Facility Engineer position with the Jacksonville Jewish Community.
He was widowed to his wife Laura Ford, and had three sibling brothers, James A Ford (Shella Ford-Wife), Harold Ford, and Robert Ford. In his spare time, Richard was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish men's club, and several other social events involving children's development to adulthood. Richard will be missed dearly and survived by his children son Eric L. Ford; daughter Danette Ford; and Son Richard Ford Jr. His two niece Cheryl Ford, Tiffany Baker and his nephew James Ford Jr. His legacy will also be followed by his grandkids Ashlee Baker, and Chase Ford; as well as many other cousins and family members. Richard will rest for loved ones and friends with a Memorial service held at 11:30 a.m. on August 15th and hosted by Naugle Schnauss Funeral Home. Service will be at the Five Points Chapel, 702 Margaret St, Jacksonville Florida 32204(masks required).
