Richard Lynch

Richard Lynch, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and brother went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2022, at the age of 77. He Lived in Jacksonville, Florida until his passing and is survived by his "Georgia Peach" and wife of 58 years Betty Booth Lynch, his daughter Jacqui Lynch Scuncio, son-in-law Paul Scuncio, and granddaughters Shelby and Kayla Scuncio. Rick was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Harry Lynch and Juanita Junkins Lynch. He was one of 9 children and is survived by brothers Ronnie, David, and Terry Lynch and sister Kelsey (Cookie) Lynch Cottrill. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Arleta Cumberledge, Margie Lowe, Mary Nichols, and Dee Herod.

At the age of 17, Rick enlisted in the United State Marine Corp where he served with honor and pride. He passed away in a nursing home surrounded by fellow veterans.

Services will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
