Richard Dwight Sinclair

Richard Dwight Sinclair, Sr., passed away 2/17/17, surrounded by family and many friends. Born to Gladys Hazen Sinclair and William Benjamin Sinclair in Palmer, MA, he moved to Jacksonville, FL, in 1947. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Lee Sinclair; his son, Richard D. Sinclair, Jr. (Dorry); two granddaughters, Jennifer SInclair Pruett (Jesse); Shannon Sinclair Loughran (Matt); two great-granddaughters, Rayanna McKinsey and Ayva Pruett, as well as a much-loved relatives and friends. Also by his beloved sister, June SInclair Vickers and her family of Brockport, NY. Dick served in the US Army, graduated Jacksonville University in 1960 and worked for Gulf Life Insurance, for 34 years and from which he retired in 1995.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice or Isle of Faith United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Isle of Faith Methodist Church, 1821 San Pablo Rd., S., at 1:00 p.m. on 3/2/17, with lunch at 2:00 p.m.
