Wilson, Rickey E., 60, passed away Monday May 2, 2016. We've invited you here today to celebrate the graduation of our loved one into his glorious new home in God's Kingdom. Rickey went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2016. Rickey was born & raised in Jacksonville, FL and spent his career as an expert body repairman owning his own business for many years. Rickey never met a stranger, and through the years he made many lifelong friends. He was a real people person and one of the rare individuals that would literally give you the shirt off of his back. Besides work, he loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who was quick to tell you one of his many fish tales. He also hunted deer in Florida and made a yearly trip to Kentucky in search of the "Big Buck". No one can contest his talent for outdoor grilling. Our family gatherings always included delicious food from Rickey. He had strong passions, but greatest he had was his beautiful wife Lisa! His love for her was undeniable. Their 24 years together was an adventure that neither would wish to change. From the day they met, there was no one else. He Always said, "She Shines Like a Diamond." Lisa says that Rickey was the love of her life, soulmate, her confidant and she in turn was his.
Rickey was predeceased by his father, George T Wilson. He is survived by his mother, Beula Wilson; wife, Lisa Dewees; children, Ricky Wilson Jr. and Jennifer Weigel (Perry); stepchildren, Zach Williams, Nicole Dewees and George Dewees; grandchildren, Skyler, Ava, Gianna (who he affectionately called Jabber Jaw), Julian, Mia, Mae, Rilee and Kadie; brothers, Duane Wilson (Alison) and Terry Wilson; neice, Peyton Willson; nephews, Duane Wilson Jr., Jeffery Wilson, Chris Wilson and Jason Wilson; beloved and faithful companion German Shepard, Rica.
