Robert Charles Fox
December 26, 1987 — December 3, 2017
Robert Fox of Jacksonville Florida, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 3, 2017 at the age of 29.
Robert is survived by his parents; Melody (John) Hewitt, Greg (Misty) Fox, his brothers, Alexander Fox and Brandon Rojas, his sister Cassie Rojas and nephew Benjamin Fox. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Chipps and his paternal grandparents, Mervin and Norma Fox as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Robert was born December 26, 1987 in Saratoga Springs, NY. He lived in Virginia Beach, VA for the majority of his childhood and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2005.
Rob started cooking at the age of eleven and food became his career. He learned how a kitchen functions while working at Panzones, then Saucers both Italian themed restaurants. He spent a little over five years working at Five Guys and most recently had started working at the newly opened Jacksonville location of Fogo de Chao. He was truly in love with the upscale dining experience and felt he had found the restaurant working environment he had always wanted to be involved in. Rob excelled in the kitchen and loved cooking for family and friends though he preferred to leave the cleanup for someone else. We will all miss his alfredo sauce!
Robert was a loving son, brother and friend. He was loyal to a fault and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He was an avid and loyal Jacksonville Jaguars fan and was so excited to see his team finally coming together. He had a great sense of humor and always found the right way to break a tense moment or just make you laugh for no reason.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday December 8th at Glendale Community Church located at 6411 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32216 < https://maps.google.com/?q=6411 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32216&entry=gmail&source=g>. Pastor Harvey Hahn will be officiating.
