Roberta Stokes

Roberta G. Stokes, 73, of Jacksonville, FL passed peacefully on February 15, 2019. She was born in Vero Beach, FL to her parents, Albert and Berthinia Grant. When her mother remarried, she was raised by her mother and devoted step-dad, Presley Jackson, Sr. She grew up in Gifford, FL the eldest of 6 siblings, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She was an active participant at Gifford High School, graduating as Salutatorian of her class. After college, she married Michael T. Stokes, moved to Lexington, KY and began her work in Human Resource Management. She later moved to Jacksonville in the early 1990's, she became a Loan Officer for Vystar Credit Union. She was an avid reader, loved cooking, and sharing fellowship with others.
She is survived by her 3 children, Candance, Michael and Cassandra. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon and Leo.
