Rodney Earl Sharp, 45 years old was called home Saturday, October 14th, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL. His services will be held at Naugle Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL on October 26th at 11:00 am with John Sharp officiating. Rodney was born January 26th, 1978 in Blanchard, OK to Joey and Kelly Sharp.
Rodney lived in Bridge Creek, OK prior to moving to Jacksonville FL. Rodney had strong convictions and was very spiritual .He was a successful businessman. He enjoyed working out, biking, and fishing amongst other hobbies and activities. Rodney was a natural lover and protector of those he loved. If only he was here to see how much love everyone has for him. Rodney was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his mother Kelly Sharp of Blanchard, OK; his Aunt Sandy Mathis of Oklahoma City, OH; his brother Jody Sharp of Oklahoma City, OK; Brother John and wife Angel of Bridge Creek, OK; Niece Hailey Sharp of Oklahoma City, OK; nieces Megan Sharp, Anna Sharp and nephew John Sharp Jr of Bridge Creek, OK; as well as numerous friends and loved ones. He was welcomed home by his father Joey Sharp; Grandparents John and Margurite Surbeck and Grandparents Earle and Joan Irwin.
It was an honor to walk through life with him and we will be together again on the other side. It is never goodbye but see you later. Oh what a reunion that will be. We will be having a memorial service in Oklahoma as well. As soon as the details are finalized the family will let everyone know.
