Rosaaura Rivera

Rosaaura Rivera, age 78, passed away on October 18, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. Rosa was born on March 30, 1946, in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She grew up in Puerto Rica and New York. In New York she went to college, married her husband, Alexander Rivera, and had four children. She worked as a teacher in her early years and then pursued her long-term career in the US Postal Service. She moved to Florida in the mid 80's, continuing her career. She loved her family and was the fabric that bound them together. She will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her children Alexander Isaac Rivera, Jeremiah Rivera, and Demetrius Rivera; her siblings Joe Soto, William Soto, Bernard Soto, Mikey Soto, Daniel Soto, Maritza Soto, Martha Soto, and Marilyn Soto; her grandchildren Byanca Rivera, Elaisha Rivera, Darien Fisher, Kailee Rivera, Samuel Rivera, Jaxin Rivera, and Dominic Rivera; her great grandchildren Luciana Bobinet, Liam Coker, Elaina Coker, and Phoenix Byrd.
A memorial service will be held at the Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, Florida 32207 on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 1:30 PM.
