Rosemarie Lent Cobb

Rose Marie Lent Cobb died peacefully on October 13, 2016. She is survived by her sister
Carmen, three daughters -Rose Marie Lent, Chris Lichi (Humberto) and Denise Chan, 4
grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her beloved niece, Linda Blanco.
She was born and grew up in New York City. After her children were born, she moved to
Jacksonville where she lived most of her life and had a fulfilling career. She worked with
National Air Lines in their Sales Office, as personal secretary to Mayor Hans Tanzler, and as
secretary to the president of Barnett Bank. She was very proud of her accomplishments and
worked on civic projects like the Gator Bowl, the GJO and served as president of Executive
Secretaries where she was able to give back to the community. She had a zest for life, music,
dancing, friends, family and entertaining.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic
