It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Reverend Rudy L. Williams Sr. on July 29, 2021 and his wife Juanita C. Williams on July 30, 2021.
Rudy was born October 20, 1948 in Gainesville, FL to John and Ruth Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived briefly by his wife, Juanita. He is also survived by his 3 children, Lee, Heather and Stephen; 7 grandchildren; and his brother and two sisters, Randy, Kathy and Robin.
Rudy served four years in the United State Coast Guard. Upon graduating from the University of Florida and Luther Rice Seminary, he served as a Southern Baptist Minister for five churches in the state of Florida between 1977 and 2014.
A joint memorial service celebrating Rudy and Juanita's lives will be held, pending a future announcement.
