Sharon Palmer Dixon

DIXON Sharon L (Palmer) Dixon, 67, passed away peacefully on Sat., Oct. 28, 2017. Born in GA on July 23, 1950, daughter of Jewell Loudermilk.
She was a beloved wife of 37 years to Mark T Dixon who preceded her on Nov. 3, 2015. They married on Feb. 19, 1978.
Sharon and Mark took ownership of Jim's Fried Chicken in 1999. Sharon was the cheery cashier and cook behind the counter for 7 years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to care for Mark when he became ill. She was very passionate about the Gators as well as pigs!
Sharon's family legacies include her children: Mark Jr. and Matthew Dixon, and Tammy (Palmer) Slifka; grandchildren: Jaden Smith, Nevaeh, Alana and Liam Dixon, Katie Knowles, Christopher and Leann Brown; great grandchildren: Hunter and Haylee Welton.
Services on Sat., Nov. 11, 2017 from 10-12 at Naugle Funeral Home 1203 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville, FL (904) 396-1611. Graveside to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
