Obituary for Stanley L. Kell Jr.
Stan passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on February 10, 2020 at the age of 72. He now rests in the loving arms of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Rest in peace my love, you will forever be in my heart.
Stan was the beloved husband of Doris Kell and she will miss her best friend and partner in life dearly. He was loved by so many family and friends and anyone he met, he was always there for everyone and never met a stranger. Stan proudly served in the Marine Corps and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio.
Stan was survived by the love of his life, Doris Kell, his brother John Kell and his son Stan III, his brother Matthew Kell, his wife Lisa and their sons, Zachary, Jesse and Caleb, stepchildren Debbie Vickers and Michael Molkenbur, and grandchildren Andrew, Allison and Sara and step-grandchildren Ryan, Erin, Caleb, Cameron and Jace in addition to many cousins. He is preceded by his father, Stanley L Kell, mother, Justina L. Kell, and son Joey Kell.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, February 15th from 11-1:00 PM at the Timuquana Country Club, 4028 Timuquana Road, Jacksonville, FL.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Stan's honor. www.diabetes.org
