STEPHANIE “STEVIE” GORSKI McGOVERN, 67, passed away Friday June 28, 2013, in Switzerland, Florida, surrounded by her loved ones. Stevie was born on December 6, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 1991. She graduated from Schenley High School. Stevie married her high school sweetheart, Bill “Pap” McGovern. They just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Survivors include her husband Bill, son Billy McGovern (Lisa), and daughter Kim Brindle (Bob). She had 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Colin, and Carley McGovern, and Payton and Bryce Brindle.
