Sue A Lowden Profile Photo
Sue Lowden, of Orange Park, FL passed away with her family at her side on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the age of 67, after a seven year courageous struggle with lymphoma.

Born in Dayton, OH to Vesta and Russell Lentz, she was a 1969 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School. After a 10 year career in retail management, she moved to Orange Park in 1987 with her two children Chason and Holly. Sue was quickly recruited by Calico Corners as a store manager where she had a 20 year career, which was cut short by her cancer diagnosis. She met the love of her life, Scott, in 1991 when he was immediately drawn to her infectious laugh and over the top personality, and they married in 1995.?
?
?Sue had a special light that everyone was drawn to and exuded joy and sincerity. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, especially when it came to holidays, food and Disney! ? She was the kindest, hardest working and most selfless person. She always saw the best in everyone and rooted for the underdog.? She loved to travel but spending time with her family was her greatest pleasure. ?
?
?Sue is survived by her loving husband Scott Lowden; her son, Chason Grant and her grandson Joshua; her daughter, Holly Brown and her husband Josh; her brothers Ken Lentz, Dick Lentz ?and his wife Becky, and Farina, her beloved bichon. ?
?
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity that was very near to her heart; The Hope Lodge- Gainesville provides free services and lodging to cancer patients and their caregivers. The family is grateful for the two months they were able to spend there after her bone marrow transplant in 2013.?
