Martha Sue Barnett Milford

Sue B. Millford,99, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018. Sue was born in Hartford, Alabama on November 18,1918, the youngest of six children of Clarence A. & Mamie Barnett. Sue's father died when she was an infant and the family moved to Jacksonville in a piece-meal fashion during the 1930's. She married Charles P. Milford Sr. in 1938, who died shortly after their Fiftieth wedding anniversary. During her long working career Sue held various clerical positions with Barnett National Bank and The City of Jacksonville. She was a very devoted member of Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Charles Sue B. Milford, 99, of Jacksonville, passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2018. Milford Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Jacksonville Beach; a granddaughter, Page Bissel, of Jacksonville, great granddaughter, Lindsey Hoyme of Boston; grandson, Brandon Bissell of Ponte Vedra Beach, two great great grand-children; Nephews Glen Bourgeois and Clarence Barnett, niece Barbara Nettles. She also leaves behind two special friends, Norma & Jack Williams. Sue was a gentle, loving person of a kind and generous nature. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and loved ones. Graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 10am. The Reverend Remington Slone of Christ Episcopal Church will officiate.
