Susan Pellegrino, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on September 8th. Susan was born on a farm in Richmond, Ohio, during the Great Depression with six brothers and five sisters. She had some great stories of being chased by a bull on the farm and her brothers giving her a bike to ride with no brakes. She truly loved growing up with a large family.
Susan moved to Florida in 1960 with the love of her life, William. She was a devoted wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, embracing every moment with them. She loved and cuddled with her grand dogs, too. She has had quite the assortment over the years. She also enjoyed having a tidy house and arranging (and then rearranging) her flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents Mary and Jesse Hill, her brothers James, Glen, Scott, and Harold Hill, and sister Naomi Jean Anderson.
Survived by:
Her loving husband of 67 years, William;
Children Vincent Pellegrino (Andrea), Domenica Corradini (John), and Linda Pellegrino;
Grandchildren Joseph Corradini, Nicole Corradini, and Nicholas Pellegrino;
Great-grandchildren Jaxon Corradini and Rylan Corradini;
Siblings Jesse P. Hill (Helen), Avella M. Dennis, Mary Lou Gorby, Barbara L. Litten (Gale), Erma L. Gribben (John) and Raymond D. Hill (Beverly);
And her many nieces and nephews.
The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
