Terrence August Thomas

Terrence August Thomas born on August 2, 1938 passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring. Terry, a Jacksonville native was the eldest son of the late Charles August Thomas and Edythe M. Naughton Thomas. He graduated from Andrew Jackson in 1956, attended Jacksonville University and then served in the Army National Guard. He was an owner of Curry-Thomas Hardware, a company founded in 1948 by his father. Terry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria Lee Thomas and their daughter, Stephanie Thomas Johnston (Sully) and grandson, Maddox; three brothers, Stephen (Linda), Matthew (Mary), and Timothy (Vera); nephews, Christopher, Joshua, and Shane; nieces, Shan and Stasia; mother-in-law, Hilda Lee and sister-in-law, Tammi Lee Hagedorn (Bill). A Rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Church at 7:00pm Thursday, March 26. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception on Saturday, March 28 at 10:00am.
