Timothy Harold Walker of Jacksonville FL passed away suddenly August 16 2019. Timothy, the son of Harold Fitzroy and Zudora Field Walker, was born in Jacksonville FL October 11, 1949. He is survived by his twin brother, Terris Field Walker, sister-in-law, Donna Walker and nephew Travis Brian Walker.
Timothy had double the childhood fun with his twin, and additional fun times with the other boys growing up on Jork Road. These boys roamed the woods, camped out after canoeing to small islands and supported each other to young adulthood.
Tim was active in cub scouts with his mom as a den mother, and continued on through the ranks of boy scouting achieving his Eagle Scout rank in 1968.
Timothy, a 1968 graduate of Wolfson High School, played basketball, was on the surfing team, and golf team. Tim and his twin also raced competitive go-carts. He continued his education at Georgia Southern University, graduating with a Biology degree in 1976. He enjoyed his time in Georgia but returned to Jacksonville where he remained until his passing.
Tim worked construction for many years and was self-employed. His first company built many of the residential docks around Amelia Island's waterfront properties. Tim was his happiest with a hammer in his hand. Your work is done Tim you may now rest in peace.
