Valentine Woodell Robbie passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 93. Valentine was born to Val and Nora Woodell in Lake City, Fla. Valentine was graduated from Campbell College and served at Ft. White High School, teaching music and voice before leaving to marry and move to Jacksonville and raise a family. She retired from Independent Life after 15 years. She was an accomplished alto-soprano and pianist as well as an active choir member at Faith Methodist until her later years. Valentine was an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction, particularly histories and biographies, and had a sharp sense of humor that enjoyed quirky British comedies, and she was a movie buff, as well. Valentine was a beloved mother to her children and family, and cherished friend, as well. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters (Elizabeth and Caroline) and brother Robbins, and father of her children, Gordon Robbie. She is survived by her children Brian(Janet), Kevin (Mary) and Caroline as well as 6 grandchildren (Trevor(Claudia) Robbie, Adam(Allie) Robbie, Julia Robbie, Jordan Robbie, Ian Miller and Maya Miller) and two great-grandchildren (Isabelle and Owen Robbie).
