Vicky Morgan
November 3, 1948 — September 5, 2023
On September 3, 2023, Vicky Morgan, mother of three, passed away at the age of seventy-four. Vicky was born to Dennis and Marian Hollows of North Bay, Ontario in 1948. She was an accomplished figure skater who went on to become a skating coach. After moving to Florida in 1979, Vicky met her husband, John Morgan, through the Jacksonville Figure Skating Club. They were together for nearly 35 years.
Vicky's interests included figure skating, reading, working at the supervisor of elections, and being an active member of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Nothing brought her more joy than boasting the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren, watching tennis, and spending time with her beloved dog, Preston.
Vicky is survived by her brother: Dennis; three children: Josh (Jessica), Alissa, and Taylor (Jake); and four grandchildren: Andrew, Samantha, JJ, and Sophie.
In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks that those who are able instead make a donation to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
